Yesterday a visitor came to our school to tell us why reading is important. His name was Robbie Rakete. He had been in some TV channels. Also he is in the TV show wiggles. He encouraged us to read, and he is a famous man. His favourite book was Asterix And The Golden Sickle. He encouraged me to do lots of reading so that I can be better than before.
I am a Year 8 student at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 12 and my teachers are Mrs Golder and Mr Reid.

'Thousands' of Dunedin homes to be lost to rising sea
Link
In the past few weeks ,the water from New Zealand had been rising up .The water had been rising up to sea levels since 2007,the sea water had been one of the most things that New Zealand needs to keep in the world. We need to save our water so children can stay healthy as well. Water is another thing that New Zealanders need to keep so that the water can be still rising up. Seawater is one and only thing that we need to keep and also to make our water rise up.
