On Monday we had Syndicate Assembly, hosted by Room 10 .
We sang two songs which were Aotearoa by Stan Walker and Azonto by Fuse ODG .
The activities that we did were heads up and hip hop.
The first game that was played was heads up. Some of the students were competing against the teachers. The second game that was played was hip hop, and students were chosen to dance to the tutorial that we did at hip hop.
My favourite game to watch was heads up because it was so funny how the teachers were acting out what the paper was labelled.
I am a Year 8 student at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 12 and my teachers are Mrs Golder and Mr Reid.

😁 "Hip Hop" 🙌
Today we had hip hop with a dance instructor. Her name was Jess.
We had to learn some basic moves before we moved on to the harder moves(for me that is). It was quite difficult, because there were times when I could not do the moves. I tried my best though!
The choreography, which was created by Jess had these amazing, sensational moves. I was pretty puffed out and tired at the end of the session! Would I do this again? Maybe I will, maybe I won't!

Road Safety
We have been divided into 5 groups. We've been collaborating with each other and helping one another. My group and I created a slideshow to tell people how to be safe on the road!
Tips:
1. Always keep your belt on and phone off
2. Don't go over the "Speed Limits"
3. Cross using the pedestrian crossings near by!
Also make sure to always focus on the road before doing anything else!

Daily Fitness
This week Rooms 9, 10 and 12 are doing running for fitness every morning. When we started, I was really confused and annoyed at the same time. I was jogging with my buddy Vika. We had to run for 10 minutes around the senior block. Lastly when I was finished, I had to breathe through my nose and out of my mouth. What I mostly need to work on is sustaining my pace.

💧The Storm In Rotorua 😌
In Rotorua there was a big storm. Lots of rain and floods damaged about 30 houses. It was quite critical.
The next day, rain was constantly coming down through in the night time. Luckily lots of people were moved and evacuated from the areas to safety from this awful weather!
